Zecti Camera Backpack - Front

One of the things I’ve really struggled with, as an amateur photographer, is to find a reliable camera bag for my gear. So far, I’ve tried four different bags, slings and backpacks, and they’ve all failed.

I finally found a camera bag I like! I purchased the Zecti Backpack in June 2018, and it has been holding up really well. In fact, this camera bag exceeded my expectations and held up to a lot of abuse during a recent 8-day trip to China.

7 Reasons Why I Like my Zecti Backpack

Zecti Camera Backpack - Back
  • This is a compact camera backpack, and the size is ideal for the items I need to pack: a DSLR camera with lens attached, three additional lenses, two extra camera batteries, USB cables, cleaning supplies, and two external charging batteries
  • In addition to ample space for this camera gear, there is a compartment in which I can slide my 15-inch Dell laptop.
  • The upper compartment provides additional room for personal items for a day trip or snacks.
  • For added security and ease of access, the camera gear fits into the bottom compartment and is accessed from the back of the backpack.
  • The back of the backpack and shoulder straps are well padded. In addition, the waist and chest straps provide much needed support for the camera bag when fully loaded.
  • During my trip to China it rained quite a bit, and the canvas material and rain cover stood up to the test.
  • There is no shortage of pockets. They are well distributed and accessible from inside and outside the bag.

I bought this camera bag from Amazon. After more than six months, I am still in love with my Zecti camera backpack. My only suggestions to make this an even more valuable camera bag are:

  • Lighten the weight a bit. For the size, it is slightly heavy.
  • Enlarge one of the side pockets. You can only accommodate a skinny water bottle.
  • Provide more color options. While I like the standard tan/green, it would be great to offer more color options such as navy or black.

And it looks cool too! I’ve always had the Lowe Pro bags and they are stellar, but they are EXPENSIVE!
