American Airlines 2018 Year in Review
Like many American Airlines frequent fliers, I received an email from the airline containing high-level stats of my travel during 2018. I don’t recall receiving a customized statement like it in the past; I think this is a first for AA, and I like it.

If you had accumulated 74 nights on your Marriott Rewards account and no additional stays planned before the end of the year, would you book and pay for one additional night, that you really don’t need, to achieve Platinum Premier Elite status?

This is a rhetorical question. However, anytime I can earn free miles, I would do it. But seriously, if you have a Delta SkyMiles account and use Lyft in the US, link the two accounts and watch your miles accumulate. However, are the miles really free?
